Singapore was difficult. It looked like white flag with red circle and stars, but it was white moon.

The part of the French flag also is a part of the Norwegian flag. Maybe add Norway as a second answer?
+3
Level 55

I didn't even see that at first, because France seemed such an obvious answer. But now that you mention it, the right side of the vertical blue stripe on the flag of Norway gives the same pattern.

Well noticed! It's very close up though! (I think the shades are a little different too, but that would be the most nitpicky thing even for this website!)

I finally know all the flags (though Mali I sometimes get mixed up with its look-a-like). Oceanian and Caribbean capitals still needs some work and am making progress at African ones (can names 3/4 consistently and link I think at least half to the correct country)

i don't mean to be a nitpicker but technically Tonga has the red cross, so maybe accept Tonga???
+1
Level 76
Aug 28, 2024
There is no "the" red cross. There are many designs of crosses, and the one that appears on Georgia's flag does not appear on Tonga's flag.

Otherwise that's like saying France has the tricolor so you should accept Belgium for that answer.

Yeah.. you might wanna check that again.

I tried to specifically look for a version with a red background and the closest one I found (removed the white, so it was half red, half blue) was from a Reddit post titled "My Redesign of the Haiti Flag".
