No there is not. You need to learn how to use softwares that can open svg files (inkscape for example). Try youtube, there you can finb a lot of videos about that.
It looks like the Ottoman Empire did have some land in Europe, but most of it was in Asia. I think the Ottoman Empire was probably left out of this quiz for the same reason Turkey is considered part of Asia (ethnically they are more Asian than European). I hope that helps answer your question.
I agree, but the main reason russia is put in europe is because the capital city is in europe, and istanbul was the capital city of the ottoman empire.
Please correct the Alsace-Lorraine border.... and the Ottoman Empire should be considered here (including Cyprus) above all as its capital city was in Europe!
Because Rumania was predominantly used as the country's name until the late 1900s. Since this is a historical quiz, Rumania should be accepted because it was the most common spelling at the time.
Interesting I wasnt aware of the distinction. Though English isnt my language, nor am I from Romania. I have no idea if in my language there is a distinction, it is written Roemenïe which sounds like rumaniuh (nearly rumenia)
I don't think it's fair to accept Austria for the Austria-Hungary answer. It's people's own fault if they don't know the name the whole point of this quiz I thought was to correctly name the countries. By doing it this way it's simple because you can just list off random European countries anyway
France did not have Alsace Lorraine during WW 1. It belonged to the German Empire. They conquered it during the Franco-Prussian war of 1871. Please check your history first before making these maps.
someone has probably already told you this, but there are some minor issues with this map. The Netherlands looked a lot different back then - a lot of the land there we see today is actually reclaimed land, there was basically a giant hole in it back then. Also Alsace-Lorraine, but I think some people have already said that. Great quiz though!!
But the Turkish capital is in Asia, whereas the Ottoman capital was in Europe, the same situation that Russia is in today, but Russia is still considered to be European on Jetpunk and in this quiz.
English: It must owner must like it. He chooses for himself.
(@TurkeyCookTime, this was formal, I just put it into Google Translate)
Also Southern Dobruja was Romanian at the time (annexed from Bulgaria after the Second Balkan War).
