Thanks :) I will see, if people want to play it I can make at least 196 :)

This was the best geography quiz I've taken in a while
+10
Level 68
Jan 23, 2019
There is zero proof that any "ark", let alone Noah's settled on any mountain anywhere on this planet. Why? Because it never happened. This is a geography quiz based on fact, not on bronze age superstitions.
+7
Level 71
Jan 23, 2019
great quiz! would like to see the noah's ark question changed to something like "Mountain where noah's ark is said to have landed" since, as bezz pointed out, there's no indication that any of that actually happened.
+3
Level 16

Agree. Where Noah's ark landed? Is this geography or religion quiz?
+11
Level 60
Nov 5, 2020
Why is it that people complain about Christianity in these quizzes, but not literally any other religion? You wouldn't see anyone complain about asking where Muhammad had Gabriel tell him about the commands of the Qur'an.
+1
Level 59
Jul 25, 2023
I think they would complain about that too...

A comment for bezz:

There is evidence for the flood that is specified in the tale of Noah's Ark. There is a Greek story about a flood that killed the entire population at around the same time. Whether Noah or his ark existed can't be proven but the story does have some highly likely truth behind as most religious do.

A great idea and execution of the puzzle! My only issue was that I guessed the final answer when attempting a question and it automatically completed the puzzle.

Level 76
Jan 21, 2016
Thank you :) According to this quiz there are 196 world countries. You have about 0.5% chanses to guess final answer. You are very lucky :)
+1
Level 62
Jan 21, 2016
I did the same thing, stupidly typing in the final answer as a guess for the B1 clue (haven't had my coffee yet). It might be an idea to have questions that have as little chance as possible of being answered with the final country. Great original concept, though, and very well designed.
+9
Level 75

I read the "biggest Mediterranean island country" as "the country with the biggest Mediterranean island". So, I had the answer immediately. Still, this was a good idea.

What about still having to answer the 16 hint questions, but if you guess the final answer you are shown the initial letter of those 16 answers?
+2
Level 76
Jan 21, 2016
My original idea was that someone can see only picture when guess final aswer. But parts of picture are hiden answer components. I need to make sme kind of connection between final answer and components like in decoder quizzes, but I do not know ow to do that.
+1
Level 76
Jan 21, 2016
In that situation player can countinue with guessing other answers.
+1
Level 75
Jan 21, 2016
This would kind of mess up the number of answers but you could add 16 answers, one for each initial letter, that have Italy as a type-in
+1
Level 76
Jan 21, 2016
That make sence. For now I will leave it like this. I want to here as many advices as I can, or maybe Quizmaster can help me with this.
+2
Level 75
Jan 21, 2016
Great quiz! My suggestion would be that if you guess the map quiz question, it does not give you all the other answers. That way you'd have to answer all 17 questions to get maximum points. (I tried "Italy" after about 6 answers, after the shape of the country started to appear, then suddenly I couldn't answer all the other questions cos the quiz just stopped and gave me 100% anyway)
+2
Level 75
Jan 21, 2016
A complicated puzzle to make would be 'which countries create most interesting pieces of puzzles when divided in a 4 x 4 grid'? Where uninteresting pieces are for example A4 and B4 in the case of italy because they are all white - similarly all black pieces would be uninteresting. I wonder if Italy is first...
+2
Level 76
Jan 21, 2016
I think white pieces are important when you trying to imagine whole picture and you do not know all answers because white pieces (or black) are helping you wiht creating image in your head. Certainly 4 x 4 is not best solution for every country. We will see it in future :)
