More difficult ones here. Thank you for the arrows! Also, it'd make sense if the colours in the titles below were the same as in the map, it's not quite consistent, at least as far as I can see.
Some letters should undoubtedly be excluded (maybe just J and the end of the alphabet). Yet W has no countries but a surprising amount of geography to include :)
toughest one of this series by far! based on percentages I am not alone in that conclusion! I guess 16 of 20 isn't horrible as it beats 90% of test takers.
I like that you upped the hardness level because some of these other letters are pretty easy. The regions and sometimes the mountain ranges require a minute to think about.
Nope, says the Michigander. But I honestly have never heard of Darfur or the plateau, but the pampas region in Argentina...I thought that was farther north.
Yep, agreed. I got everything except Dry Pampas, Deccan Plateau and Durango. Perhaps consider amending that one Mr Voda? This is not a criticism as I have enjoyed many of your excellent quizzes. Dry Pampas doesn't even come up on a google search.
As I said, Semi-Arid Pampas aka Dry Pampas. It isn't a criticism, as your quizzes are excellent. It's just a bit obscure, especially when it's an "aka". I've never heard of the Semi-Arid Pampas either to be honest, but the Pampas, yes, of course - only it doesn't begin with D, as I am sure you noticed :)
I thought I was being dumb with 7, but the only ones I didn't get that I've heard of were Denver and Delaware (which I really should have got...), that's a hard quiz!
Good quiz, as are the others in the series. Don't need 'Dry Pampas', could be whole series of , 'Damp Pampas' / 'Swampy Pampas' / 'Hot Pampas' / 'Warm but-not-too-bad Pampas etc.
I love this series, I get to learn so many things! Like today, I learned that I do *not* know geography that starts with D. I could pull out maybe 7 from my brain before I ran out of words to guess.
I too think the quiz would improve if you switch the ones under 20% (apart from drakensberg) out for something else. A bit of difficulty is good so would not replace them with very easy ones. But perhaps Dordogne, Danzig, Death valley, Darmstadt (like the element), Davis strait, Dar es Salaam, Dushanbe, Derry, Dhaka, Delft (like the porcelain), Dili, Donetsk, Doha, Dodoma, Donbass, Dolomites, Donegal, Douglas, Dortmund, Dunkirk.
Plenty to choose from :) ofcourse it is also good to learn new things.
Really fun idea for new Quizzes !!!
Thanks!!
