Appreciate your time on this one, KoljiVolVroda, and you did a great job, but personally I would much rather type out the answers than search for them on the list. It's too easy to accidentally click on the wrong one when in a hurry. I forced myself to slow down on this one so I wouldn't make a silly mistake. (Thanks for giving us plenty of time for that.)I know it's good for those who are really slow at typing, but definitely not my favorite format.
The intention is to check if you know which city is capital to each state and where the state lies on the map. I, for instance, scored 16/50 on this test, but managed 29/50 on the type out one. Conclusion: I know the names but don't know where the cities are. It's an additional challenge. (also please don't mock me for my score)
For me I do significantly better on this one that the typing ones out. I may not know the capitals well but I know where all the states are and when given multiple choices I can pick the right one
omg I know this is like 6 years after your comment but you can actually type! It'll highlight the capital and if you press enter it's the same as clicking on it
Pleeeease give the map a zoom function. Or at least eliminate the circle that surrounds the highlight point. The highlights for RI, MA, and CT more or less cover the whole area. That being said, I really liked this! It was a lot harder than just listing the cities.
How is Oklahoma City not one of the most obvious up there? Also when you've finished and are scrolling through to see which ones you missed, it says 'This state is Boston' or whatever. Should be 'This city...' otherwise, very helpful
I think it would be more interesting if you took away the state border lines, personally. Not calling this too easy or anything, but it isn't really testing the map so much as it is testing if you know what each state capital is, by just looking at which state the dot is in. This was fun though. Nice quiz.
US State capitals are always tricky for me. Have practised them quite a bit, yet always miss a few. 47/50. Some are just so small and unknown that I never heard of them before I started learning the state capitals.
Great quiz! Just figured out that if you are on a computer, you can type in the letter you want and it will bring it right to first capital starting with that letter. Saves me a bunch of time!
The northeast area needs to be bigger. Sometimes it is hard to determine which capital is circled. Go back to a spreadsheet type of list instead of a dropdown menu. It moves sometimes when you click on a capital.
I'll leave now
