A powerful alien race has sent 44 superweapons to Earth, each capable of neutralizing 3 countries. Guess a powerful country to activate each superweapon, accumulate its power, and conquer humanity!
Powerful countries get more points, and will appear darker.

Power has been hand calculated using data from the Power Index. Global Firepower excludes non-conventional weapons such as nukes when scoring countries. Each answer corresponds to the power guessed.

maybe make this quiz again, but without giving you a freebee everytime you guess a country and more time.

What freebee? If you mean grouped countries, having countries as groups makes the quiz more fun and requires you to look at the map. Also, more time would make this too easy to beat. (which isn't supposed to happen for these quizzes)

Looks like I am the odd one out, but I do not understand this quiz at all. I thought perhaps I should name the countries I could see, but png and Papua New Guinea got me nowhere. So I just typed some countries at random, time went quickly, and I scored poorly. Now I've seen the answers I still cannot figue out how the quiz works.

I previously had a more complicated set of instructions and caveats before the feature update; I’ll see if I can copy and paste them later on. Basically, you must guess the most powerful countries as fast as you can before the clock runs out. The darker the countries appear, the more power they have. DO NOT guess the grey countries because they are the ones not included in the source, according to the second caveat. I’ll try updating it.

This quiz could be good, if the explanation was better. Please completely do-over the description for this quiz, so I know what the hell I was doing. I just randomly guessed (militarily strong) countries, because the description didn't help me one bit.

Took me a while to get 5/5. Still don't entirely understand the premise... it seems to be groups of three by power ranking, and gives you more points for higher powers. But I really don't understand the point system. I would think it should just correlate to the actual power ranking of the country or something instead of the 1-12 used

The power rating of the countries are sometimes decimals, and the most powerful countries have the least rating. I doubt anyone would be able to follow.

Yeah, I was totally lost. Just kept entering countries and then random ones would turn red. It looks from the answers that the countries are grouped by power rankings. So the US, Russia, and China, as the three most powerful countries, are grouped together and trigger each other as answers. So I guess you want to guess the first, fourth, seventh, tenth, thirteenth most powerful countries for maximum efficiency? Not sure that is right, but that is the best I could come up with.

I wouldn’t call myself famous. Relative to the site barely no one has heard of my account. On the other hand, you are the blog king who can create some amazing but unrecognized SVG’s. Like you said, we all want attention. However, at the end of the day we are contributors to much more than a quizzing website.

You need a score of 160/212 to get 5 points, which you can achieve by answering the 24 best answers.

By the way, there are 46 triplets, not 44. The description should be fixed.

Suggestion: a save humanity but instead of population, you do land area? I was going to try and make one but I don't have the brain capacity for it....

Of course you do! While daunting at first, making a plan will help massively.

1. Find an area source known to JetPunk as accurate and reliable.

2. Create a conversion (e.g. 10,000 mi = 1) and calculate the numbers using a calculator and rounding to your conversion. If you don’t want to mess the format up, copy Save Humanity and export the answers as an example.

3. Make each point an answer with the country’s name. This will take a while.

4. Finish making a quiz out of it.

But finally, remember that this quiz was not designed off of Save Humanity, but turned out to be mildly similar so I coined it as such. There are still remarkable differences between the two, but an area version of Save Humanity should respectably come with permission from GeoPhilia. He isn’t as active as he used to be, and a no is a no. He is a very kind user though.
