The Pacific shore of the US is in the wrong place, and for some reason it counted the Ivory Coast wrong despite the map showing it to be filled in. Also what about Gibraltar, Ceuta, Melilla, etc? Otherwise nice quiz.
Great quiz. There's a bit of inconsistency in what is and isn't accepted. For the most part 'USA' works, but to get United States (Pacific Shore) I had to type the whole thing. Similar issue with Spain (Bay of Biscay) and one of the other Spain answers. Please can you fix it so that just the country works for everything?
Really great quiz ! It just lacks some technical points like one other occurrence of Spain in Morocco between Ceuta and Melilla thanks to Peñon Velez de la Gomera, and occurrences of Russia and Poland/Lithuania/Ukraine due to spits. However it's a very nice quiz, keep it up !
Technically speaking the US Pacific side is missing a US exclave (Point Roberts) making the final stretch MX-US-CA-US-CA-US. Not that it matters much if you get this far as there are no other candidates but USA and Canada there.
There are actually three Spanish exclaves on the Moroccan coast. Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera it's a tiny Spanish peninsula attached to Morocco, halfway between Ceuta and Melilla.
Considering that Vancouver island is an island, and that Point Roberts is part of the US on the Pacific Coast, there should be an alternance Canada/US (Point Robert)/Canada.
Suggest you could add the extra bits as "pre-filled" grey answers. This would (hopefully) appease the nitpickers and would also not require the stats to be changed because the extra bits wouldn't change the number of answers required to finish the quiz.
Where are New Brunswick and Nova Scotia? The Quebec border suddenly stops at New York, and then it's like the Gaspé Peninsula, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia aren't part of the mainland. They aren't attached to the rest of Quebec on the other side of the St. Lawrence, but they are attached to the United States.
LOL: now you've put too much back! The Canada outline includes the New Brunswick-Maine, Quebec-Maine, Quebec-New Hampshire, Quebec-Vermont, and Quebec-New York borders, as though the border is water instead of land. The Canadian outline should stop when it reaches Maine.
It's appearing in the New and Reset Quizzes, so I was expecting to get points. I got all of the answers correct with plenty of time left, but it still shows as zero points for me
I got 143/142 and the Canadian coastline was highlighted twice. It didn't end the quiz, but when I chose Give Up it errors out and says "waiting for the server to respond". The error was caused by the "Canada (Pacific Coast)" answers at the very end of the quiz
Great quiz, congrats on the feature. It may be my PC or my eyes but I find the green colour of the coastline difficult to see. I don't know if its possible to darken it a bit ?
Maybe you could have done similar to what you did for one of the Spanish territories in Morocco. I believe not even Israel claims Gaza Strip. There is no reason to consider it Israel, even if Palestine doesn't count as a country in JetPunk.
Today I learned "Guatamala" is the incorrect spelling of Guatemala.
I can only assume other quizzes have been accepting my error. I think I would have preferred that they didn't, so I would have been forced to learn my mistake sooner.
This quiz is very clever and I like it, but Crimea is still considered Ukrainian by most countries, and Russia's annexation of it should not be supported. Taiwan is seperate from China in Jetpunk, though China claims it, so why would Crimea be part of Russia?
JetPunk officially considers Crimea part of Russia now due to their de-facto control over the peninsula. While Quizmaster has said in the past that he will accept users choosing to keep Crimea Ukrainian since there is valid debate about who controls it, most users opt for the JetPunk standard and show Crimea as part of Russia.
It shouldn't, but the Russian Federation de-facto administers it and technically has complete control over it, as it has since 2014. The annexation was illegal and unfair, but still an annexation nevertheless
Got stuck on Guatemala forever, countries of the world quiz accepts "Guatamala" and I never realized I was spelling it wrong. I couldn't think of what other country would come after Belize
Great quiz! one thing I found on another similar quiz is that the coast line from mexico to belize goes back to mexico when it goes up in the Chetumal bay, then back to Belize again.
Then you need to accept all local names of countries. Hayastan for Armenia, Sakartvelo for Georgia, Shqiperia for Albania and Bharat for India etc. Take into account also all countries writing their country name in different alphabets. That would be way too much work for the quiz creator.
Canada looks like when you've seen someone only with their big hat, then they take it off in front of you for the first time and their head looks tiny.
Enjoyed the quiz!
Great quiz nevertheless.
Considering that Vancouver island is an island, and that Point Roberts is part of the US on the Pacific Coast, there should be an alternance Canada/US (Point Robert)/Canada.
Cheers ;)
Does the outline colour have to be light green though? Very hard to see on the white background of the browser. Especially Afro-Eurasia
Palestine people are not to be forgotten. <3
Great quiz anyway!

There are a couple of other cases - Western Sahara is occupied by Morocco, and the Gaza strip is not part of Israel.
Still a great quiz, just wanted to point this out :)
Except for Antarctica, of course. r/MapsWithoutAntarctica
I would like to tell you that ur pp is delightful.
Best,

Great quiz!
