I would move 'What city has the world's ...' later, maybe around 'Which U.S. state ...' since there's a large drop in people who could get it, and similarly with the 'What Hawaiian island ...'. Great quiz otherwise, as always!
I'm confused by the question about the largest surface area in America. First, do you mean the United States of America? Or the whole continent of America? Then, Yakutat, according to Wikipedia has a surface of 268.66 km2, but Jacksonville has one of 2,264.84 km that's almost 10 times bigger. And if it's the continent then Manaus has a surface of 11,401 km²!
Oh... I contiued reading the article: According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 9,463 square miles (24,510 km2), of which 7,649 square miles (19,810 km2) is land and 1,813 square miles (4,700 km2) is water.[16] The 2010 census also defines a smaller census-designated place named Yakutat which has a total area of 104.1 square miles (269.6 km2), of which 100.5 square miles (260.3 km2) is land and 3.6 square miles (9.3 km2) is water.
I believe we have a terminology issue here. By no means yakutat is a city having a martian population density. Maybe it was convenient to amalgamate 20 thousands sq km in one borough but drawing a 1mln km square in Antarcrica with population of one penguin would not make it a city. I would say thanks for a fun fact but for me the answer doesn't match the question.
Challenger Deep should be accepted, and the order of the questions doesn't make much sense for a progressive quiz. Some of the middle ones are really difficult, then they get easier again (like why would more people know Regina than Antananarivo?)
The order I admit may be wrong. This is because I don't know exactly the general facts that people tend to know. I usually try to update these quizzes based on the stats, and I will do the same with this one soon.
surly the Mediterranean separates Africa from Europe in a more complete way than the strait of Gibraltar? Is the dover-calais crossing the main thing separating England from France? Is the peace arch in Washington the thing that separates Canada from the US?
I guess we're going with that 24,510km2 then
