Alternative Accepted Country Name in "Countries of the World Quiz"
Name all the answers that have an alternative country name that is accepted in ""Countries of the World Quiz"", whether it is 1. the country's name in another language , 2. the country's old name, 3. the abbreviation of the country name, 4. the short-form name of the country that does not include words from the standard name, or 5. informal name and/or commonly misused geographical term
United States has two alternative names and United Kingdom has four
The short-form/informal name that includes any word(s) from the standard name are not included (e.g. "St. Kitts" for "Saint Kitts and Nevis", "Barbuda" for "Antigua and Barbuda" or "Congo" for "Republic of Congo")
Accepted "typo" answers are definitely not included (e.g. "Andora" for "Andorra", "Columbia" for "Colombia" and all the accepted ways of typing "Liechtenstein", "Kazakhstan", and "Azerbaijan")
The quiz instruction has much more clear description I suppose. I have put down all the rules in the instructions and caveat, which would probably answer all of your confusion.
Also, it is almost impossible to find a perfect title for the quiz in just a few words.
Calling them type-ins are more accurate, but then again this quiz won't make sense since many countries accept several type-ins
e.g. MICRONESIA is accepted for Federated States of Micronesia too
Also, it is almost impossible to find a perfect title for the quiz in just a few words.
