Although my score was awful, I have to say that this is a superb idea! Congratulations for this excellent concept, perfectly adapted, with a beautiful SVG. I hope there will be more quizzes like this one in a near future. Nominated, of course!

Actually, when I made this quiz, I didn't kenw that much about U.S. cities ; considering how the homonyms of the selected cities are little, I might delete this useless sentence ^^

Took me three tries as I messed up Denver/El Paso and Miami/Charlotte. Proud that I got Detroit/Atlanta right though. Awesome quiz!

Not surprising to me that Atlanta would have a low % correct. Not many folks, including me, would visualize that it was actually west of the city that I assume most would guess first.

Yup, I can confirm, this is definitely a tricky one. Actually, I would have said that El Paso was also one of the hardest, but the stats doesn't really prove it, regarding to other answers...

I have been surprised to learn on about seven different occasions that Atlanta is west of Detroit...and it never sticks. Got it wrong again.
