Please do not cite from Wikipedia. Burma is in fact bigger than Afghanistan and that issue has been addressed, but The Philippines is smaller than both Vietnam and Malaysia
Please do not cite from Wikipedia? Why not? It lists its sources, and it's a valuable reference point. I do understand the issue with the Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia has to do with how water and land area are taken into consideration, so I see your point there.
Oh no, not Wikipedia! This isn't a research paper. Wikipedia may be lacking in information compared to the reference books you'll find in a library, but the information it does have is just as accurate. I have never found false information on Wikipedia, despite claims by my teachers and professors to the contrary.
There are a number of items wrong with this quiz that need addressing. Primarily, Russia is a transcontinental country, but it is definitively European and therefore has no place within this quiz. Burma must be changed to Myanmar, with the name Burma being considerably outdated and bluntly wrong following the government's name change in 1989. The quiz does not make it evident whether it is based off of land area or a combination of maritime and land area, which makes the quiz ambiguous from the start. Judging that this quiz is based on land area, which makes considerably more sense as a metric, the order is wrong as Indonesia should be between Mongolia and Pakistan and as Russia should not be included, allowing Oman to take 20th place.
