I think everyone understands what is meant, even though very technically it's not really possible to do east/west in the same easy way as north/south. North/south is "how far away are you in a straight line from a certain point?" East/west just goes round and round...
You could say that Mauritius is the most easterly African nation, but if you travel continuously east from there you'll get to Namibia. You can't travel continuously north from Libya to get to South Africa, for example.
Egypt's easternmost point is either the Halayib Triangle or Ras Banas peninsula. The easternmost of these, the Halyib Triangle is only at 35°31'23"E. Not even close to any of these countries.
Easy quiz, guessed Tanzania but realized that Mozambique did not have line type borders. What I did was move down from Egypt, to Sudan, etc. But I got 100/100
