This is probably the toughest of the continents so far to get all of them. Took me 4 tries to figure out a good system. Probably 5 seconds more would make it immeasurably easier.
Agree. It's tough because there's quite a few long ones that are you are required to type such as Philippines. There's also no easy way to get South Korea or Turkmenistan.
Pakistan does not border Tajikistan, it is a common misconception. They are separated by the Wakhan corridor of Afghanistan by 16 kilometers (9.9 miles) Otherwise, a very great quiz. Keep up the good work!
China, India, South Korea, Japan, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Cyprus, Bahrain, Maldives, Taiwan, Israel. I spelt Philippines wrong every time, but the incorrect spelling was accepted.
This took me like ten tries, wow. Kazakhstan, India, China, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Indonesia seemed to be crucial to my efforts to do it quickly but I'm sure someone had a better way.
Okay, I'm quite a bit late but here's the Taiwanese lowdown. Taiwan (which was then called China, at least by many Europeans) used to be where China is now. Then China up and happened via a lot of historical events everybody kind of remembers and ran Taiwan out of the place and onto their island. China proceeded to claim that not only had they not taken over the mainland from suddenly-Taiwan, Taiwan didn't exist at all. At first it was kind of funny. Then China became a world superpower and, well, nobody wants to make them angry. Nowadays, then, most countries don't formally recognise Taiwan to avoid getting on China's bad side, but otherwise they act in every way like Taiwan's a real country. (The alternative would be to consider Taiwan part of China, which simply doesn't bear out if you go to the place.)
Pretty much has to, seeing as 'Taiwan' is only a commonly used shorthand, and not actually the name of the country. Kind of bizarre that RoC doesn't work, but PRC does...
Singapore has two borders, Indonesia and Malaysia, but yet is not being counted when i type them in.
By habit from the world version, I type both indonesia and malaysia separately to get Brunei, East Timor, and Singapore along with it. This quiz is not counting singapore unless i manually type singapore in.
I think it's Jetpunk policy to consider Singapore an island nation, and thus not view it as bordering any other countries. I think that's a bit debatable seeing as its northern border is a river and not a sea, but so be it...
All these people in here saying "took me 2 tries" are incredibly fast typists. It took me like 3 tries because of how incredibly long it always took me to type "Philippines" I may even be spelling it wrong, but I always got like 45/48 every time until I finally finished.
Probably not the best, but I used cyprus dprk china japan taiwan philippines indonesia singapore brunei laos india srilanka maldives ksa bahrain syria armenia turkmenistan.
prc, ksa, turkey, copy paste uzbekistan, cyprus israel, sri lanka, maldives, barain, thailand, singapore, brunei, indonesia, philipines, taiwan, rok, japan got all in 14 seconds
There’s actually a tiny bit of land between Singapore and Indonesia (very thin strip) that a roadway was built on. However, if you look under the round, there is a tiny portion of land, so Singapore should be filled in when you type “Malaysia.”
ROK=South Korea
for south korea, do dprk
China, India, South Korea, Japan, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Cyprus, Bahrain, Maldives, Taiwan, Israel. I spelt Philippines wrong every time, but the incorrect spelling was accepted.
this is my sequence, don't know if it is the most effective but i got it so it works if you type fast enough:
uzbekistan
turkey
laos
prc
malaysia
saudiarabia
cyprus
israel
bahrain
singapore
easttimor
japan
taiwan
rok
india

By habit from the world version, I type both indonesia and malaysia separately to get Brunei, East Timor, and Singapore along with it. This quiz is not counting singapore unless i manually type singapore in.
Must-have: China, ROK, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Iran, KSA, Syria
If you can: Uzbekistan
I was in my prime, 9 seconds left only needing one more country...but I misspelled north korea... three times....
*Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore,
Philippines, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Cyprus, Bahrain, China, India, Laos, Israel, Turkey, ROK, Japan, Taiwan.
If you're typing Bangladesh, just type India to save time. Same with Laos instead of Cambodia.
My full list:

afghanistan
china
laos
indonesia
