I thought it was a good approach, as most other quizzes are by population. Could be clearer in the title, maybe (I figured it out when Canada and US were in a different order than expected), but definitely made me doublethink a few things.
It always confuses me when people say "bigger" and actually they mean "smaller but with more people", or "smaller but richer", or "smaller but doing more trade". I think "bigger" should mean "more big", otherwise it's a bit like saying a car is bigger than a hot air balloon. Hey, it may be smaller, but it's heavier! And has more windscreen wipers! So I'm going to say it's bigger! It just doesn't make much sense to me.
No.
Literally Área.

And who went and made Spain bigger than Germany when I wasn't looking??
