Are you considering the percentage as the European part of Russia or the Asian part of Russia? I imagine it is probably the European part but I just wanted to make sure. :)
It is not greenlands fault, he never get to join in on all these quizzes. Is always left out, so it is understanding it doesnt get all the names straight of all the countries that do get to play while greenland sits alone in its corner. (Though, wales and scotland sometimes check on him, and though they arent really friends, cyprus sometimes join him)
Surprised Canada didn't make the cut, however, after rethinking the population of the central American/Caribbean countries I can see why it's less than 7%...Awesome quiz btw :)
I don't think NZ and PNG are on a continent. It should be made clear at the top that you are counting Oceania as a continent. And is PNG in Oceania or Asia (assuming Indonesia is in Asia, although it is not part of continental Asia).
Indonesia is like Russia in the sense that it spans 2 continents. The island of New Guinea is part of Oceania. I don't think that's typically under debate.
New Zealand is typically part of Oceania (or Australia, or Australasia, whatever you call it), and that's the way JetPunk usually does it.
It's controversial (some sources say that happened in January, some say March, some say it hasn't happened). It hasn't been accepted in JetPunk quizzes yet.
Surprised that Indonesia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh didn't make the list, considering they are both in the top 10 most populated countries. I guess that just goes to show how massively populated India/China are compared to every other country in the world.
:P
My one that took me time was Ethiopia
