I was sitting there thinking about each one when I realized the timer was going down like the old quizes that started immediately. Could have gotten a zero score on the easiest quiz here! This is why they encourage people to retire in their sixties.

They should remove the comments feature so people can stop complaining and criticising and slagging other people off. Quizzes are meant to be fun, whether they're easy or difficult. I think it's nice that people go to the trouble of putting them on here in the first place and no-one is forced to do a quiz they don't like.

I agree with The New Potato, the comments section is often brilliant. And if the comments section was removed then where would Jetpunk be now? There would be no funny stuff and no-one would know each other and it would make Jetpunk just another quiz website with good quizzes but just a dull, machine-like feel about it. Nothing needs to be changed. The site is perfect as it is.

I don't say that it is bad. But points should reflect not only how well you do on a quiz, but how tough the quiz is as well. It gets a bit ridiculous to give 5 points, which you usually have to work hard to earn, on a quiz like this one where everyone is being basically gifted the full 5.

Oceania is - as the name suggests - mostly ocean. Oceans are literally the opposite of continents. Oceania is a region that groups together the continent of Australia and a variety of island countries that don't belong to any continent.

I would challenge that assertion that oceans are the opposite of continents. The commonly-given definition of continent as "a continuous mass of land" breaks down when you look at any of these seven continents. Holding strictly to that definition would require us to say, for instance, that Japan is not in Asia, and most of New York City is not in North America.

Really, there is no absolute physical definition of "continent". The continents are just the regions into which we have collectively categorized the world, because humans absolutely love categorizing things. By that definition, there's no reason Oceania can't be a continent :)

Isn't the Panama Canal that divides North & South America? Why not the Caspian Sea, Volga, & the Ural Mts.? How about the river seen near Mt. Sinai? Africa, Europe, Asia, & the Americas are really separate. The Caspian Sea connects the river of Volga which goes east of St. Petersburg then goes to the White Sea.

So if we go by the definition of a continent being a large, continuous, discrete masses of land, ideally separated by expanses of water, there are only 3 continents: America, Afro-Eurasia and Oceania. America being North and South america combined. Antarctica is technically an archipelago covered in a giant sheet of semi-permanent ice. Africa, Europe and Asia are one landmass and then there's Oceania, the continent of misfit islands.

I can honestly say that this may be the most difficult quiz ever taken. It took me almost 15 seconds to do, and I had to use almost 20 neurons. I only got 100% as I had gone to Kindergarten when I was 5. I would only recommend this quiz to other people who had gotten at least a 70% in Kindergarten.
