I've heard of Ericsson, (aka "Ericcson" on Jetpunk), but I don't think I've ever seen their logo. I've never heard of Whataburger, though. An American thing, I assume?
Eh, phone maker from 10-15 years back. I think the brand logos should be nascent (as in the companies are still active and exist, not bankrupt or zombies, existing as IP only)>
I understand missing Whataburger and Zillow since their services are strictly North American, but come on, everyone on the internet should at least know what Rockstar is
I mean still, we're talking about creators of highest grossing piece of media of all time - GTA V, and it's quite hard to believe someone in range of 10-60 yo in civilized world wouldn't have heard about them, as the game came way beyond just gaming bubble with it's popularity.
It's like not knowing Titanic or God Father because you are not movies fan.
Would you accept Telekom and Deutsche Telekom as options for the T question? They have the exaxt same logo and T-Mobile is actually a subsidiary of them.
For Hyundai I first tried to go with Honda. I made the accidental mistake of typing Hondai, which got accepted. How is Hondai an acceptable answer for Hyundai?
Whataburger feels WAYYYY too niche for a quiz like this. It only has locations in 13 US states! That makes it not only difficult for Americans, its practically impossible for anyone outside of the US. Why not try warner brothers or Whole foods?
The T-logo is the one of the Deutsche Telekom. T mobile is just a part of their business. So anything like T mobile, T online or any variation of Telekom should be accepted.
Eh, it's picky, but not out of bounds. As stated to another comment and as a suggestion to QuizMaster, should be current brand not one that either died/went bankrupt or exists only as IP (for example "E", which is now part of Sony).
Ancillary to that suggestion, consider replacing JC Penny with Jetpunk -- yes, self promotion, but it's not like JCP will be with us that much longer, would be surprised if they make it another 2 years before going bankrupt.
