This quiz is of every present country in Europe, created because the other quizzes are outdated and it drives me mad.
Names are based on the regional nations list of West, Center, and East Europe on the offical Paradox wiki.
Speaking of being driven mad, this could use a lot of type-in help. Celje, Byzantine, Golden Horde, Ostfriesland, Bourbon, Lauenburg, and Moscow should all probably be accepted, and I'm sure there are more I'm missing (the Orders without "order"?). You should also allow for some more hyphenated name variants, e.g. Bavaria-Munich or Saxe-Anhalt.
The point of the quiz seems like it shouldn't be "remember which name Paradox used for this country specifically", so much as just any name that obviously refers to that country being accepted.
Also, this is maybe the weirdest definition of Europe that I have ever seen. I assume you decided that you didn't want to use the game's definition because of its inclusion of Asia Minor, but then you also didn't use the modern interpretation. Instead you seem to have cut off parts (north Caucuses? Nogai? Rhodes?) without any explanation. At the very least you could specify what you mean by Europe in the notes so we don't have to guess.
I have stated in the description where the names have come from, the individual East West and Center European regions.
As for some of the names, I chose to specify many of them, due to the fact that those nations ALSO exist within the game, but are not present at the standard 1444 start date. (Bavaria, Livonia, Golden Horde, etc.)
I also try to keep it as faithful to the game as possible, as that's where the information of this quiz comes from. Hence why states not seen in game, such as San Marino, are not included. This extends to names, as otherwise it would begin moving into a historical quiz rather than one solely on Eu4.
Thank you for the feedback, I will take these into consideration.
Golden Horde is a different tag than great horde, since it is a formable. Same way England can't be triggered by Great Britain, and you can't score every HRE state with simple 'Germany'.
I used the individual European regions to make the quiz, and neither Cyprus nor the Knights show up in any of the 3 regions.
Admittely I am tempted to just stick the Knights somewhere since it makes total sense, but I hesitate on Cyprus since even now it's debated over which continent it belongs to.
