This was interesting, but I think it should be split into two different quizzes (maybe two different series). One with three real flags and one completely fake flag, and one with three real flags and one real flag that has been slightly altered.

It would help immensely if the flags that have white on them weren't on a white background or at least had a more visible border - in particular the one that got me tripped up because I couldn't see the white was Madagascar's flag.

Indeed it is. I wonder if they accidentally flipped it or whether it is an actual former flag? The old flag of Zaire is awesome BTW. Why is it always that the most evil regimes have the best flags?

There's a small mistake in the solution text of Q8. It currently reads:

"Brunei, Austrian flag with the Slovakian coat of arms, Peru, and Kyrgzstan."

Should be Paraguay instead of Peru.

Could you please change the Afghanistan one? That flag is not internationally recognised – meaning it could be considered "fake".

I've never heard of flags needing international recognition. Since the Taliban are in control of Afghanistan they can choose the flag *shrug*

Oh, I got all correct except of 10. For some reason I believed, the colorly switched Kazakh flag might be a legit flag for Kyrgyzstan. I think so stupid my, because I wrote a thesis about the compasion of these two countries :D

Pakistan didn't look right, because the edge of the flag is not obvious, flags with white edges need a border to differentiate from the background

I got all but the Australia one. I was thinking that the color of its background was wrong (and I'm pretty sure it is) rather than it missing any stars. But I ended up picking malaysia because I thought it had the wrong # of stripes. Fun quiz.

In the solution text of Q3, you refer to the "British commonwealth" (sic). There has been no such thing since 1949 - its name is the Commonwealth of Nations. The UK is one of the members, but does not own it (or make any claim to), and this has now been the case for fully 75 years.
