Hover/tap within the border to reveal sections of a flag. Identify the country whose flag it is and type it as an answer. Be warned; sections of the flag will fade away when you are not hovering/tapping on them.
Sorry, this may not work particularly well on a touchscreen
Select a different answer box or hit TAB to skip to another flag
Wow! Nothing can stop you, that's beautiful. With no doubt a future classic.
I would just note a little thing: you should adapt your quiz to dark mode. I habitually don't use it, but I tested this quiz with, since I know that it's a recurrent "problem" of masterpieces like that. White elements on stripe should be coloured as the rest of the colours, if possible. And that's a detail, but for the four little corners, you could use a "dark" class with this command: ".dark-mode .dark{fill:#25282B!important;}".
But I'm nitpicking, I'm truly fan of this quiz, which I had to nominate. Congratulations!
Unfortunately, a random version won't be happening for the time being. Unless I think of a more efficient method of making this type of quiz, it would be incredibly tedious and slow to create. I'm also not sure I'd be able to fit enough flags into the maximum file size to make a random quiz worthwhile.
This is an awesome quiz! But i would say one thing though: you might want to hide the answers until a person starts the quiz- this way they'll know what the answers are before they even start which makes the quiz a lot easier in my opinion. otherwise great quiz
That is interesting. I did think it would work on a touchscreen, but I tried multiple browsers on my phone, and it would not work on any of them. What browser and device did you use?
I used Google Chrome on my tablet, although I acknowledge it was highly difficult, and I could only guess randomly according to the few colors per flag I could see
Fun quiz! I got tripped up with New Zealand because I quickly moused over and didn't get the red in the stars to appear until I went back over them. Same issue with China where the yellow didn't want to pop in. Considering how you had to make this it's still very impressive, thanks for all the effort!
I'm on a touchscreen and you're right, it doesn't work too well, but what I can see of this quiz makes me want to come back and play it on a laptop later. Cool idea!
Is this one of those quizzes that if you can't answer a particular one then you have to quit the quiz? Or is there a way of jumping over to the next question?
Great quiz! Fun painting the flags :)
Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it. Maybe paint the flags is a better title.

Thanks for pointing that out. I often forget to check dark mode. The issues should be fixed now.
Only suggestion I would have: lower the timer a little bit to make the quiz more challenging?
Nominated, of course :)
Instead of lowering the timer, the flags should now fade faster.
Also, a random version of this quiz would be incredible (:

But great quiz! :) 😀😀
