More surprising is the fact that both Japan and North Korea are on the list (and for the same two species), but South Korea is not. EDIT: Looks like (according to Wikipedia) there are brown bears in northern Japan and northeastern North Korea, but not South Korea, which doesn't seem too unreasonable.

Is it the one in Amazon? The sun bear?

The spectacled bear is the only bear species native to South America, so no countries with spectacled bears have more than one bear species.
