I wonder why Ingrid Alexandra is after Sverre Magnus in the British line of Succesion. She is third in line before Sverre Magnus in the Norwegian Royal family. Since Princess Charlotte is before her younger brother, it seems logical that Princess Ingrid would be before her own younger brother.

I believe that would have to do with when absolute primogeniture was adopted in the United Kingdom, where anyone born before such time was allowed to keep their placing in the line of succession.

I don’t actually know that to be the reason, it’s just a guess.

You're correct. The Perth agreement was made in 2011, and it doesn't affect those born beforehand (otherwise Princess Anne and her children and grandchildren would move before Andrew and Edward etc)

I believe Princess Charlotte was the first to be affected by this

It seems a dangerous game to me for changes to be made to royal customs. They get all their legitimacy from their ancient roots and history; every change reduces the strength of that connection. A modernized royalty would be self-defeating - it would lose its reason to exist. Better to embrace their character as retrograde relics, lean into it, and they can be charming, aloof, ultimately inoffensive - and much more secure in their existence.

Yes, male primogeniture should definitely be reinstated.

I got 35. I knew about 15, 10 more shared names with them and then I got about 10 more by typing in random English names.
