Are plurals not counted?

Also, the word “gypsy” is occasionally seen not capitalized and not used as a slur, as in the term “gypsy cab.” It means an independent taxi driver.

No plurals in this quiz, I just updated the description.

As for gypsy, that and gyp are also accepted words in Scrabble, but I think the dictionary I used omits certain ones that could be considered sensitive for any reason. Maybe I’ll have to find a new source, because those are still good words to learn.

There is now a link in the description to the website version of the book I used where you can search any word for its definition and to see if it’s valid.

Enjoyed the quiz and managed to 35% of the answers. One suggestion - Either allow plurals or specify that they are not allowed.
