Alternative title: Name Every City in Quebec (and a few Others Canadian Cities for Good Measure)
Please note that some of these "counties" are slightly outdated. In the case of census divisions, they are already arbitrary, as they exist purely for census data.
Some of these are the official second level divisions for their respective provinces, but other provinces have alternative divisions (ie. Alberta's counties) or none at all (ie Newfoundland).
I decided to use urban area population for the cities, as city boundaries are subjective, and may include large rural areas. However, the urban areas for Toronto and Montreal spreads out dramatically into surrounding divisions, so I cut their population short. Vancouver is certainly not the second biggest city in Canada, despite what it may appear on this quiz.
Also I find it incredible that you can release huge quizzes like this so often, I've been working on my most recent quiz for nearly a month now and I'm still not done.
Good luck with improving your score :) I spent way more time than I should have to make this quiz, but I made the decision to release it before my week-long trip in back country. I didn't mind spending that amount of time just working on the quiz either as I'm most passionate about Canadian geography!
Thank you! I didn't expect many people to play this quiz when I was making it, just finishing it was rewarding enough for me. I had tried to make it at least once before, but I lost all momentum when I reached Quebec so it never got finished.
Apologies, but it is unlikely, as it takes a lot of time to make a quiz such as this, and therefore I don't plan on making such large and complete quizzes on regions I don't have a connection to :(
Thank you very much, I did my best to give the quiz an aesthetic touch. While I don't expect it to be featured due to how obscure most of these cities are, it's really quite nice to see people enjoying the quiz :)
Well, a bike tour through northern Ontario bought me a few minimally-guessed ones, but my total lack of knowledge about Quebec really brought down my score. Except I remember reading an article about the town of Asbestos changing its name, and luckily the old name was still the one on this quiz.
