I considered including villages and hamlets, in the same manner as my Alberta quiz, however there are just too many tiny settlements in Saskatchewan that the payoff didn't seem worth it.
I would like to work towards that, although I cannot make any promises at this point. I'm currently editing existing quizzes, but I'm hoping to do a BC version as my next new quiz.
It took just a few days, but don't worry, I only worked on it when I had down time. And since there are just 166 cities and towns, it was half the work of the Alberta quiz. I'm not sure making the map for this made me appreciate flat, desolate Saskatchewan, however :)
I wonder how you do this stuff so quickly...a few days is usually not sufficient enough for me to make a quiz with this much precision! BTW I like the dot colour you chose, it looks nicer than the normal orange-ish colour that many JetPunk quizzes use
The map itself was simple to make, due to the amount of straight lines. However, it was the most time consuming, since there are just so many municipalities. Placing the dots again was simple, yet time consuming. I had to look at the maps for all these different municipalities in order to place the cities withing them, and the Wikipedia article made several mistakes in telling which municipality contained which city. Since I began making quizzes, I believe I have cut the time needed to create a map down by 40-50% through various optimisations.
Good to hear! I was hoping that people from each province could find my provincial 'All Cities' quizzes for their province. When you grew up somewhere and the small towns around you are household names, it's something special to have a quiz here that features those towns, speaking as a Southern Albertan :)
I only did the cities and towns this time around.
