That means that 1 person eats 1 cupcake in 7 minutes.

So, 30 people would eat 30 cupcakes in 7 minutes.

The night one doesn't make sense. Technically, the night is a part of the day(24 hours). The night and the day are not two separate things, the night is just a part of the day
