Interesting quiz. Could you consider adding the countries as an acceptable answer, for example I tried Sri Lanka, but it wasn't accepted.

Andorra la Vella means "Andorra the Town". Effectively, it's Andorra City.

Well in catalan, vella means old, town would be vila. I always thought it was "Andorra the Old" (like Andorre-la-Vieille in french)

Interesting..."Andorra la Vella means 'Andorra the Town', to distinguish it from the Principality of Andorra as a whole. Although in Catalan the word vella (like French vieille) is derived from the Latin word vetula which means 'old', the Vella here (like French ville and Catalan vila) is derived from the Latin word villa and means 'town'."

I would remove Slovakia/Bratislava.

The other ones with changed/rearranged letters are fine, but LAST 5 letters from one word and FIRST 5 letters from other one AND 1 changed is a bit of a stretch.

Otherwise cool quiz!

I would agree with removing Bratislava, also because the two particles ("slova" in Slovakia, and "slava" in Bratislava) mean different things and are similar just be chance. "Slava" means "glory" (Glory of the Brothers is a translation), while Slovakia is "Land of the Slavs".
