Welcome to the Futurer future. Currently, there are 200000 cases on the earth.
Also, a new virus broke out. IN WUHAN. A!G!A!I!N!. Its called HMPV in easier words, HumanMetaPneumoVirus. And its spreading.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... sed :(
Canada has two cases now, Cambodia has gotten a case, and the US now has 5 after a case being confirmed in Arizona. Other countries such as Israel, India, and Ivory Coast are all now monitoring cases, too. A video also went viral that showed a Chinese nurse (a whistleblower) who claimed for there to be between 90,000 to 100,000 cases in China, not between 2,000 to 3,000 (it could be false, but it still could be true).
British Airways has suspended all flights to mainland China in an effort to stop the spread of the virus. 97 UK citizens have been tested. So far we have no identified cases. Hope it remains that way althougth thats unlikely. God be with everyone
Okay everyone these are all countries outside of China that have coronavirus cases as of the 31st January: Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, Malaysia, South Korea, France, USA, Germany, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Italy, Russia, UK, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka
They have found a person with coronavirus in Jönköping (sweden). I'm from Sweden, but I haven't seen any news about it in other countries then Sweden. She has been in Wuhan a weak ago and contracted it there.

Time to boycott China as much as you can. And no this is not hate speech (sad how in this day and age so many people are over sensitive that I have to even explain that). Their government played a role in it.
I know this hasn't been updated in a while, but can you please change the name? Calling it the "Wuhan (Corona)virus" is a bit insensitive and has anti-Chinese connotations. Also, everyone calls it a pandemic now, so "outbreak" isn't the best descriptor. Perhaps a better title would be "First 28 Countries of the COVID-19 Pandemic" would be better?
I strongly disagree with your points. Being ethnically Chinese (not from the mainland), I do not find calling it Wuhan virus to be insensitive at all. Many diseases are named after places like Ebola (a Congolese river), Nipah virus (a Malaysian village), German measles (Rubella’s other name) and Zika (a Ugandan forest), and you don’t see those places shouting to be victims of racism. Heck, athlete’s foot is called 香港腳 (Hong Kong feet) by Chinese speakers, a name embraced by even Hong Kongers themselves. In fact, the Chinese government’s constant spreading of disinformation regarding its origins, deflection of initial responsibility and playing the blame game makes calling it Wuhan virus 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 apt as it emphasises where the first outbreak took place, a fact we should 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 forget. Secondly, the quiz referred to the disease when it first emerged before it became so widespread, so I think “outbreak” is an appropriate term for it.
I know you're joking, but I like how I stopped updating this. It's an interesting snapshot in time. And there are some other people who have updated versions.
