1. Robin Hood was Nottingham, not York.

2. BBC stands for British Broadcasting CORPORATION (should also accept Biased Broadcasting Corporation)

Level 45

I agree Robin Hood was Nottingham (to be specific, Sherwood Forest)
Level 89

Yes, that’s right, the BBC are basically communist agents intent on the destruction of the West. That, and overturning the will of the British people. The British print media on the other hand, are bastions of middle ground sanity, champions of truth and justice for all…

PS: The quiz needs a couple of type-ins

Level 68

more type ins, 'Bond'. I tried every year between 45 and 80 but none were accepted. It is common to accept last two digits for years in the past century. Should just require a number for the Roman question and BC.
Level 84
Sep 17, 2023
Bond doesn't work, "James Bond" is required. Get real.
Level 66
Sep 17, 2023
Thought Penzance would've been the answer for most SW but the British are weird in terms of whats officially a city or not.
Level 60

The Romans didn't invade in the 1st century BC. Julius Caesar TRIED to, but it wasn't achieved until the reign of Claudius in 1st Century AD.
Level 85
Sep 17, 2023
Just a few notes. Apostrophes make a word possessive, not plural, so it should be "Aston Martins" and "Monarchs". Also, "Bond" should work for James Bond. Also, it was the kingdoms of England and Scotland that merged. You could maybe say the monarchies merged, but definitely not the monarchs.
Level 65

could clarify the Champions league question. Liverpool have the most when you include European Cups but since the champions league era Liverpool, Chelsea and Man utd all have 2 wins.
Level 55

The Romans didn't actually manage to invade Britain until the first century CE/AD
