Me too, and I'm Canadian. I really don't know how Canada would have had civilian deaths in WW1.

They are counting the deaths from the Halifax Explosion in 1917 because one of the ships was a wartime freighter carrying explosives from New York to France.

Germany lost no civilians to starvation because of the blockade?? Serbia, Montenegro, Greece and Bulgaria had negligible civilian deaths? The Ottoman figure is just the Armenian genocide - there were plenty more deaths.
