Kurri Kurri is marked as Northeast of Maitland, but it's Southwest.
And some of the places are just citypopulation.de weirdnesses, like Crafers, SA which has a population of <2000, and shouldn't be on the list at all.
Much better to use the Australian Bureau of Statistics' list of Significant Urban Areas: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_in_Australia_by_population#Significant_urban_areas_by_population
Northern NSW, though, is a dog's breakfast. Grafton (100s of km too far south) and Taree (100s of km too far N) are completely wrong, and Morisset (too far E), Kurri Kurri (too far NE), Raymond Terrace (too far N), Nelson Bay (too far NE), Singleton (too far NW) and Dubbo (too far NE) are significantly wrong. Maitland, Cessnock, Tamworth, Armidale, Coffs Harbour, Ballina and Lismore are all slightly wrong. Only Forster and Port Macquarie are reasonably accurate.
Southern NSW/Northern Vic/ACT is not much better. Kiama (too far S), Canberra (too far SW), Wagga, Albury, Griffith and Wangaratta (all too far W) are all significantly out.
In Victoria, Moe and Warragul are significantly too far N, and Bacchus Marsh is significantly too far W (it's 5 times closer to Melton than Balllarat). Sunbury, Melton and Ballarat are too far from Melbourne.
