Mobile is in Alabama. "Cheyenne" appears to be a Native American word.

Yes but "Cheyenne is still a french word. the same way "french" is an english word.

Are there really two Louisvilles in Kentucky? And Dubois means 'of the wood' not 'of the woods' - that would be Desbois
