The Memel region of Lithuania was annexed in March 1939. Hungary was occupied in 1944 to prevent a separate peace. When Mussolini's regime collapsed, The Nazis took over the Italian occupation of Albania. In addition when Vichy France was occupied in 1943, Monaco was also occupied. After Finland made peace with the USSR, the Germans occupied the northern half of Finland from 1944-5.
I would say occupation is different to a military invasion, an occupation seems more diplomatically and governments signing agreements and and then moving military in so like an annexation, but i'll change it anyway.
Why would you deliberately spell it incorrectly?
