20. The People's Republic of China originaly controlled the island of Taiwan before it was taken over by the Republic of China
Originally, the Republic of China controlled all of both modern day China and Taiwan. The People's Republic of China later gained control of the entirety of mainland China but has never controlled Taiwan.
How come you don't count Oceania as in all four hemispheres, seeing as even Kiribati by itself checks that box? And if you're only counting mainland and not islands, then Africa does not reach all four hemispheres either if I'm not mistaken. Great quiz nonetheless :)
You're mistaken on the second statement, mainland Africa is in all four hemispheres (north, south, east, west). But Oceania clearly is too, so the question is wrong.
Its just a bad question or at least poorly stated. Clarify it please. There are many ways to count the continents and many of them dont count Oceanian islands as a continent
Good quiz, would be better, in my opinion for what it's worth, with some explanations. Oh and just to nit-pick, you spelt fiction wrong on the Black Plague question. Sorry.
