Hello! thank you for your response.

When I created the quiz I didn't think of Putin as a dictator. Now that I've searched the internet about this, most sites say he's a dictator. But nevertheless, he is the most recognizable Russian.

And the same goes for Kim. The most famous after him are his family members.

Regarding the other two, a mistake was made. I did research on them and read good things about them. I should have gone deeper.

I wrote the line about the dictators at first because I meant more well-known dictators like Hitler.

I don't know what you use to quantify how well known a person use but I would check out Google Trends if I were you: it quantifies how often a term is looked up. Eva Peron barely ever crosses 1% of Messi's peak since 2004.

Hello! Thanks for trying my quiz!

The problem with Google Trends is that it can be completely wrong.

For example, I compared Confucius with Jackie Chan and more people searched for Jackie.

Sometimes there are cases where people search the Internet more for celebrities than for important historical figures, and this doesn't mean that they are less important and well-known than the celebrities.

I really enjoyed this - i would have loved a map to see what countries are left, but it's quite a big file already.

I would say though that you're quite brave putting up a picture of the prophet Mohammed for Saudi Arabia - people tend to react quite badly to that sort of thing...

Only Muslims are forbidden from depicting Muhammad. Anyone else is free to do so. Of course there is a sect of fundamentalist nutjobs who think that everyone should live according to their rules, so they think they have the right to cast Islam's prohibition on depicting Muhammad to non-Muslims. But of course, they are ridiculous and we shouldn't really care what they think about anything.

I enjoyed the quiz. Something like "Most famous person" will always be controversial. I am from Costa Rica and have lived here my whole life and have never heard of Harry Shum jr. You should change him for a more famous person like Keylor Navas (goalkeeper for Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain) or Óscar Arias (president and nobel laureate).

I also think you should change Eva Perón for Messi or maybe Maradona.

I think more people know Søren Kierkegaard, than Bering.. Probably also Schmeichel, either Peter or Kasper. Mads Mikkelsen or Jørn Utzon, Lukas Graham or Tom Christensen, Caroline Wozniacki or Hans Christian Andersen to name a few...

Eratosthenes is not from Libya. He was greek, when Greece was all over the mediterranean sea. Its like saying that Aztecs and Mayas were Mexicans... I think that the most famous Libyan is Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi. Thank you.

Was putting in Argentina for Pope Francis and was so confused when it didn't except it. For all the others it is country of birth not country they are most associated with, I think you should just drop Vatican if no one is born there.

In the name of God, Mother Teresa is literally called Gonxhe Bojaxhiu. Albanian name which is translated into Flower bud Painter. That’s as Albanian as Albanian can get. She was Albanian and claimed so herself publicly.

Read the caveats:

"Every Personality's Country is Based on Their Birthplace".

Mother Theresa was born in Skopje.

And I think it's a good rule for this quiz, because it would open up a Pandora's box otherwise. It's not always possible to determine someone's national identity. Some people have mixed ancestry, lived in different places throughout their lives etc. Some people on this quiz come from antiquity when the world looked very different to today.

I seriously suggest that you just drop the word "most" from the quiz title. Making it just about famous people from every country will be a more fair representation of the people here, mainly because it's impossible to objectively select THE most famous person, past and present, from ALL 196 countries without half the comments saying X person is more famous than Y person that you chose. Absolve yourself from this huge responsibility and set aside a massive headache my friend.
