There’s another quiz in this series that is a general list, and it makes a distinction between royalty and leaders. So it didn’t occur to me to try royals, instead I’m left scrambling for names like Jefferson, LBJ, Blair, Nehru, Gorbachev etc. Imagine my horror (especially as a Brit) when i saw Markle there! She’s not known for leading much apart from ginger princes out of the country. And royalty, although technically true, still feels like a stretch! Lol.
Very good series though, not always the obvious names that crop up, forces you to think from other demographics viewpoint. So a 34 year old Brit having to think like a 24ish American, basically!
This was much harder than I anticipated. Didn't occur to me to think of interests from tabloids and celebrity gossip. I mean.. is Meghan Markle really a world leader? I'd argue absolutely not. And to a lesser degree same goes for Diana, Charles, Philip, and Princess Margaret whoever that is.
Agreed. If being leader of al Qaeda counts, why not CEOs as well? I assume Elon Musk and Bill Gates would then make the list. What about band leaders? Then John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and Mick Jagger make the list? Michael Jackson for leading the Jackson 5? There has to be a clear definition of leader, and it should be narrow. Head of state makes the most sense.

I think you should change this to people who have actually been head of states or governments.
