I mean even if you do decide that the best way to stop terrorist attacks in the US is to ban whole countries from entering. Surely you should ban actual countries that actually export terrorism. Like, I don't know, Saudi Arabia... the country that did 9/11....
I don't think it's right to ban certain nationalities from entering the United States, especially when it's based on religion, (in fact, Donald Trump himself even expressed interest in helping Christian Syrians, but he still wants to keep Muslims out).
There's the confusion again, it's not a Muslim ban. Indonesia for example has one of the highest populations of Muslims, and yet it's not on the ban. The temporarily ban itself is on countries whose citizens have recently done a terrorist attack on the United States. Saudi Arabia isn't on the list, because the group who did 9/11 may have been from the country, but they were part of Al-Qaeda, not Saudi Arabia.
Just because our government hates the US, doesn't mean we all hate it.
