It would be really nice to see where these population figures come from. Especially with a quiz from someone like Stewart, who I would have expected to include such a thing.
I quibble with Cyprus and Greece particularly; with the figures on both Wikipedia and CityPopulation.de agreeing that the former is under 1M, and the latter over 10M.
Now both of those are using census figures dating to 2021, and I understand that with this quiz Stewart wants to include more recent numbers. But if that's when the most recent censuses were taken, then anything more recent is just an estimate. Which prompts the question: whose estimate? Are estimates being used consistently across countries? Would really like to see this info...
I thought the categories would be straightforward but there are so many that can slip you up. R Congo and East Timor were the biggest shocks for me.
