This is a new quiz format we've created for JetPunk! It's called Tile Select and will be available to create very soon. Please let us know what you think and provide feedback.
The possible flaw with this quiz type is that when people create it and use only few correct answers per question, one would get a really high percentage of correct answers when not choosing any tile at all.
Yeah, that could be a flaw to it. But it's the only reasonable way to get scores for every tile, not just correct ones (otherwise you could just select all tiles)
Also correct, that's why it went green when you didn't select it. Green means you got it right, not that it should've been selected (that would be unselected red ones)
While thinking about flags I mixed up the color in question... Netherlands? White, blue and oh yes red! Belgium? Just like Germany but turned to the side. So no, there's no blue in there. Facepalm!
I nominated this yesterday, good to see it featured! (Though yesterday it did not even make the bottom of the nomination list, so had less than 12 nominations. Guess it was just a random/already planned feature)
Thanks! It was featured two days ago, and just before featuring had 40 or so nominations (in 6th or so place I think), guess QM didn't want to wait any longer!
Maybe when you nominated it was just before it got featured, so when you saw the list it didn't show up? Not sure.
Well I guess I messed up my days then and it was 2 days ago, I deliberately didnt take it yet, because it wasnt featured yet. Or I guess a timezone thing, being half a day apart, for you a new day might ve allready started, while Im still on the same day. Doesnt matter, good to see it up there, hope to see more of this type soon!
Possibly the best quiz available. I love how you got to see the averages per question afterwards!
Interesting how just as many people thought Barcelona was a European capital than how many thought that Washington d.c. was a US state. Both currently 89%. (Sorry if the grammar is screwed on this one)
Wow thanks so much! And yeah I think adding Barcelona was definitely a good trick, although at 89% that'll mean that number got it right, so only 11% got it wrong. Can be confusing given the unselected answers are marked as well :P
Great quiz format! Got 66/68 first try. Somehow blanked on The Netherlands on the flag question. Also didn't get Changwon but also never heard of it before.
You both don't understand how this quiz type works. You got a check on DC because you didn't select it. Meaning you got it right. DC is not a state in this quiz.
Stewart, thank you - another really entertaining quiz and a novel way of presenting it. I like your quizzes because they are different, creative and don't rely on fast typing.
One thing. Like several others on here I found the marking system a bit confusing visually. My disaster area, the flag question, had me looking at, effectively, four different colours plus the ticks and crosses. My spatial capabilities aren't great - I understood it but it took a lot of thinking about.
Might be too random for me. I have a little difficulty switching brain modes from states/capitals/flags/cities. Though I can see other people enjoying it.
I imagine people take it more than once(?). I thought I did very well at 61/68; but only beat 47.9% of quiz takers :/
It'd be nice to know what people get on the first take.
Milan is not a capital city in Europe. The capital of Italy is Rome. Neither is Odessa. The capital of Ukraine is Kiev. If this wasn't intended, it may have been a bug, but it was counted as wrong when they were not selected.
i only got two wrong but one of them was i said that keiv wasn't a capital city in europe but keiv is actually spelt kyiv so i technically got this question correct but it was spelt incorrectly
(100% yay!)
Best thing since images quizs

The District of Columbia is not one of the fifty states

Unfortunately I can't suggest anything better!!

Belgrade is the capital of Serbia
