This is a fun idea. You could do it for more than just marvel movies, too.

For "Howard the Destroyer," I was thinking it was "Conan the Destroyer" at first because A). Marvel published Conan comics throughout the 70s and 80s and B). Conan's creator was Robert E. Howard, so I thought it was a nod to that.

But I remembered the other Marvel character from the 70s depicted wielding a sword next to a woman in a chainmail bikini (Seriously, check out the cover of Howard the Duck #1)

Howard the Duck was just bad by any expectations.

I know that you hate all Marvel and comic book movies just as a matter of course and seemingly out of pure spite having not seen most of them by your own admission. So maybe this is a dumb question, but, have you actually seen it? Or you're just parroting what you've heard online?

I saw it once as a child and thought it was bad, but then I rewatched it more recently as an adult and found that, if you don't take it seriously (and why the heck would anyone be taking the film seriously), it was honestly pretty funny. So I think your enjoyment of the film actually would be greatly impacted by your expectations.

I doubt there's a single version of him in the whole multiverse who can convincingly show real emotions.
