You know you can also start with another country just by moving the cursor on the bar to a different position, and then come back to the beginning later, when most of the map is complete.
Methuselah was the oldest person to have ever lived at 969 years. The climate and the earth was more conducive to longer living between creation and the flood. Even after the flood, people lived for hundreds of years for a few generations before the life expectancy tapered off. You might refute this as superstition, but it will be proven true in the end.
This quiz is nearly impossible in the mobile version. The keyboard takes up half the screen, the URL and answer bars another big chunk and a lot of time scrolling looking for a country, often winding up way over and down in the white margins indistinguishable from the map.
I enjoy doing these quizzes, keeps you sharp and you have to keep mobile. Jetpunking has helped me have an overall idea of the world and geography in general, great site.
That's where Palestine resides. Due to differing opinions on whether it is or is not a country, and following JetPunk conventions, we've left out Palestine, but haven't merged it with Israel.
Hi Stewart. Your quizzes are fantastic. However, I am aware of your criteria, but I must say, having a map of Asia without Russia featuring at all is plain daft. It needn't be a dichotomy; Russia is a very large part of both Asia and Europe.
Really? I think you may be underestimating the site's users' intelligence. After all, they are separate quizzes. When you think about countries that are in Asia, Russia is certainly among them, as it represents the largest land mass by area in Asia. When you think of countries in Europe, ditto.
I was not suggesting people wouldn't recognise Russia, I was stating that we would lose standardization of quizzes. Having Russia on both Europe and Asia would be confusing because it messes with the consistency on JetPunk, and changing that would mean quizzes like "Top Five <> by Continent" become screwed because Russia gets put in two categories each time, which is unfair.

3) Taiwan is a cherry-picked case. Many countries cannot afford to recognise Taiwan due to the bullying they receive from China's government not to do so.
I assumed it was the map of the world and not a cutout of asia. So I totally thinking of the wrong area and I could not think what country with that size and shape would be in that location... So I got stuck on the 2nd one. (first one was tiny either way and roughly in the right area)

Confuse Brunei with Singapore!
Fun!
Also note that you can always click the map to zoom in, since there is something there it's just very small!
