I always describe Scotland as "mountainous", but I suppose "hilly" is probably more accurate! :)

Very good T/F quiz, nice job.

BTW, couldn't there be a question about Wales & N.I. though? Not just wrong options?

- Largest lake by surface area in the UK (by a long way)

- Only UK country not to feature a cross on its flag...

Try one of the quizzes in the original series that are unfeatured. Quizmaster made the 3 featured quizzes from some of the questions in those. There are a few more NI and Wales questions(I tried to be inclusive) They can be found HERE

I didn't realise this was a series - maybe change the name of your series to "UK General Knowledge Multiple Choice". Calling the series "Featured Quizzes" might put people off, thinking it's just a collection of different topics that were featured. Just a suggestion.

Very good MC quizzes (not T/F as previously stated!) I think QM has condensed them generally well, but IMO it would've been even better if each UK country had been represented in all of them, just so each one would be a stand-alone UK quiz.

Thanks for the suggestion, I've changed the series a little and put the 3 featured quizzes in the same series as the original 7 MC quizzes. Hopefully this will work out a bit better for all. It's also given me an idea for some more quizzes, Thanks again!

I went with Stoke-On-Trent for the pottery question because I know the Stoke City football club has the nickname "The Potters".

American here I only got 5 right, I knew the bouncing bomb and the battle of hasting but for the others, I just chose the weirdest name lol. Good quiz I learned some new interesting things about the UK!

Sometimes the weirdest name is the right one, we do have some weird stuff here in the UK. Thanks for taking the quiz, and the time to comment !

Nice quiz. I would just suggest that you remove the cabbage option from the fish and chips question considering that it is the main ingredient of Cole slaw.

Ive never had cabbage with Fish and Chips. or Coleslaw for that matter. Its not a usual addition to the dish.
