Sometimes it looks like: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_Costa_Rica.svg and sometimes it looks like: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_Costa_Rica_(state).svg
I was going to comment the same thing. After looking it up, however, it looks like one variant has a multi-colored emblem, while another variant does not. I've only ever seen the variant used without the seal, but since the one with the seal is an official flag, probably best not to include it.
I thought so too, but the flag without the coat of arms is apparently only the civil ensign, not the official flag of the country, and the coat of arms includes other colours as well.
I did it without looking at the flags, so yeah I did it just by filling in the countries the hard way. The yellow box would've forced it to be super simple.
I've sometimes observed that most of the coolest countries have red white and blue flags. Though I was also throwing in black (South Korea), and some countries that are missing one color (Israel, Japan, Canada)
That would also include.. Greece, Malta, Poland, Monaco, Indonesia, Finland, Turkey, Tunisia, probably some others. There are some good ones on that list.
Look up the flag of Costa Rica the seal in the center has splashes of brown and yellow. So it would not be included in the subcategory of blue, red, and white. glad I could help.
Yes, but the flag of Costa Rica that is used on other quizzes on this site is only red, white, and blue, with no seal. Why is this quiz different. Either Flags of the World should use the flag with the seal, or this one should include the flag of Costa Rica.
got all but cuba taiwan and thailand, new the thailand one was around there somewhere, tried indonesia and malaysia, eventhough I knew that wasnt right. And knew it wasnt laos ( circle) or cambodia (temple) either.
technically flags who contain just two of the colors should be added too, like poland, monaco, indonesia,(malta?),japan, denmark, finland, greece,(morocco?) etc
Fun fact: Samoa's flag looks similar to Taiwan's, especially in emojis. And of course, the Taiwan flag emoji is banned in mainland China. So Chinese netusers often use the Samoa flag emoji to represent the Taiwan flag -- that's how I remembered the Samoa flag.
