In all Jetpunk quizzes that I have done, including countries of the world, Burma and Myanmar are mutually acceptable. I think its one of the Jetpunk rules. Therefore Burma should be accepted here
Only one I missed was Mali. It took me a while to come up with Kenya, because I kept coming back to Kazakhstan, and other things that were obviously wrong.
Great quiz, however I think it would be even better without the amount of letters shown in the answer. So, if I type in Libya and it isn't accepted, then I know there must be a 4 letter answer.
Geodude, I advise you change your name.. ;) It actually is a country, one of the 4 countries that makes up the Kingdom of the Netherlands (one of the others is the country the Netherlands.
It has its own constitution, government, prime minister and ministers and elections. It is not part of the Netherlands and therefore not a member of the EU. Defense ís handled by the Kingdom (as is the case for all the constituent countries, including the Netherlands), but they are internally autonomous.
Kenya somehow was slightly tougher, because everything that is a K in my language becomes a C in english, so it is harder to spring to mind. Got it fast this time though, but I remember another time I had a hard time coming up with it (might be this quiz or another that gave the first letter). Egypt is indeed very surprising, one of the easier ones for me.
My brain (looking for Cuba and Iraq): Tijuana, Jacksonville, Kiribati, Roscommon, Uzbekistan, Federated States of Micronesia, Alberquerque, Benjamin Disraeli...
Great quiz. Got them with 20 seconds to spare. I found it helps to picture the first letter with the amount of letters after it and the country name comes quickly to mind!
Wales is a country of the United Kingdom, but not a country of the world, which includes only sovereign nations. The caveat specifies that the country names come from the countries of the world quiz.

( hard to explain in a different language while not being catholic, but I think I phrased that correctly. In layman's terms, "something churchy" ;) )
