Yeah. I got the answer because I hear that fact thrown around a lot, but my first thought on reading it was "I bet there are lots of things for which Paraguay is one of two."
I lived in Paraguay for a year, so I was excited for this quiz. If there is one single distinguishing feature of Paraguayan culture to know about, it is tereré. It's as ubiquitious and iconic in Paraguay as tea is in Britain. It is an infused beverage made from the leaves of the yerba mate plant and drunk through a filtering straw, traditionally out of a vessel made from a cow's horn. When made with hot water, it is called mate, and when made with ice water, it is called tereré. The popularity of mate has spread to many parts of the world, but tereré is largely confined to Paraguay and the surrounding regions. It has nearly as much caffeine as coffee, as well as some other stimulants.
Just for aesthetics, please put Guaraní before Spanish in the languages boxes. It's more widely spoken than Spanish in Paraguay, and it's first alphabetically!
For hint #3, Bolivia should be before Brazil to keep continuity with the rest of the quizzes, which have the bordering countries alphabetized. A nitpick I know but I like getting the, in order consistently.
Please make aphabetical order.
