This is explained in greater detail in book four, The Dark Secret. Morrowseer tells Starflight that he knows his (Starflight’s) father, but not his mother. He then takes Starflight to Mastermind, who is indeed Starflight’s father.

Because she hatched in the rainforest under two full moons, she could read minds and see the future! This is revealed in her kind conversations with the ancient Darkstalker.

As explained in the prologue of the first book, Asha was caught in a battle and died soon after delivering Clay’s egg

In book one, the dragonets play out the scene where this happens, and the prologue of book five tells what happens before this.

Each arc has five books, focusing on a set of five particularly important dragons, usually young ones. The first arc focuses on the prophecy dragonets, the second arc on the Jade Mountain prophecy dragonets, and the third on the Lost Continent dragons, though book 14, The Dangerous Gift, was an exception.

Winter is not appreciative if Moonwatcher when he first meets her. He thinks she wants to eat his pet scavenger and tries to blame her for the history cave explosion. Later, however, they become good friends.

Kestrel laid an egg that had two dragonets in it, one with too much fire and one with too little. When she tried to escape, Scarlet considered her traitorous and even forced her to kill a dragonet.

In book three, Glory challenges for the throne of the RainWings, and this is what is used as the challenge. Glory made the challenge to try to become queen and rescue the imprisoned RainWings.

In the prologue of book seven, Winter Turning, it shows the moment where Hailstorm is lost to a troop of fourteen SkyWings, telling his three-year old brother, Winter, to run away.

His wing was snapped off by Burn, one of the SandWing rivals for the throne, after Six-Claws, a friend of Dune, questioned Burn. Dune had been attacked by an IceWing and had parts frozen, making it easy for Burn to snap a wing off.

In book seven, Winter Turning, Winter goes on a quest to find his brother. Unknowingly, he finds Hailstorm with the Talons of Peace as a SkyWing named Pyrite. Eventually, he forces Pyrite’s necklace off, and she become Hailstorm again.

In the eight book, she officially fights Scarlet for the throne, and after the jewelry she wears is destroyed, she becomes Tourmaline (who was, as shown in the prologue, supposed to be her sister) and she defeats Scarlet.

The prophecy goes, The largest egg in mountain high will bring to you wings of sky. However, after the SkyWing egg was destroyed, Glory was a rushed bring-in.

At the start of books 1-5, the NightWing Guide to the Dragons of Pyrrhia notes Dazzling as the queen of the RainWings, likely because that’s who was queen at the time it was made. It seems likely that the dragonets had a copy of this guide.

The NightWings believed that Kinkajou was too young to use her venom properly and thus did not think she needed to have a binding put on. Bad idea! She used it when she and Glory escaped the NightWing prison.
