seconded on the Antarctica question. I think you may have spelled Gaddafi wrong, if not, you probably need more acceptable answers. And lastly, I don't think you need the El in El Giza, it is commonly referred to as just Giza.

Japan isn't an island, it is an island nation consisting of many many islands..

Detroit may have the biggest crime rate in the U.S. but you are not asking for that, so the current answer would be Caracas, Venezuela.

I think many people at least in the West refer to the Syrian president just as Assad.

panscedar, I don't refer to him as Assad. And this quiz is supposed to be challenging. I want full answers. and about the the crime rate one i did change it to us but forgot to save it. sorry

Good Quiz! 99% of Jet Punk quizzes I have taken accept last names alone. So, Assad should work and so should Gadaffi. Not very Jet Punk-like to insist on full names.

I just did a quick search, and evidently the recorded temperature in Libya of 136 F was debunked, and the new accepted record is in Death Valley, at 134 F.
