Without microscopically studying a map, I don't know if New Jersey shares a land border with Pennsylvania. I wouldn't be a pedantic fool though. They obviously border each other in case you're ever wondering what all those buildings are that you're looking at from the Camden waterfront.
Well crap, didn't even notice it was alphabetical. I mean, of course it was, cause it pretty much always is, but I was so confused trying to figure out what the heck state it could be after guessing all the (I thought) obvious ones that I didn't even notice.
I'm so glad you mentioned this. I am a native Rhode Islander and almost no one seems to recognize this. Long Island, NY is super close to Block Island, RI.
Delaware doesn't border Virginia, Virginia's section of Delmarva only borders Maryland. Delaware does border New Jersey, a fact I only learned from this comment section aswell.
There are some states that have borders. But this quiz should be asking which states share the fewest state lines with other states. When you cross from Kentucky into Tennessee, you don't cross a border. You cross the Kentucky-Tennessee State Line. And that goes for every other state except Alaska and Hawaii.
Technically. :)
