You are given two countries, name all of the countries in the shortest possible chain of borders between the two countries. The countries do not have to be contiguous (places like Kaliningrad and French Guiana can be used to jump across water)
For example: Portugal to Liechtenstein would be,
Spain -> France -> Switzerland
Excluding overseas territories, but including overseas regions
I have redone the instructions so they should be easier to understand. I am aware that the Denmark-Eswatini route is incorrect and I will rectify this when I finish my exams. Thanks for all the support and kind words!
Just retook the quiz over a year later, great that the time has increased, but maybe 10 minutes is a bit high? I had at least 5 minutes left. Definitely a quiz deserving of a feature, nominated!
I’m pretty sure I just changed the formatting of the bottom cell to be the same as the top, set to the text cell type. I made this a while ago, so I don’t know if I did anything special but I hope this helps.
Love the concept. Perhaps a good idea to specify that it's the route through the fewest countries possible (or fewest borders, something like that). Not the shortest route as to what Google Maps would say.
It becomes clear pretty quickly while playing though.
Yes, this quiz really needs a tighter description. I started off assuming an “as the crow flies” then trying great circles before realising you meant adjacent land borders. Not to mention the teleportation trick with overseas regions…
Super fun quiz! I really enjoyed using France as my portal to the Americas. I thought I was going to have to use a maritime border between Russia and the US
May I make German translation?
I tried, but I couldn't really figure it out, so I'll ask you again.
