Derry, NH is the fourth largest municipality in New Hampshire. It is larger than every city except for Manchester, Nashua, and Concord. It has its own town council, police department, fire department, etc. It isn't a CDP, and it isn't a subdivison of some other entity.

Derry Town's population is also much larger than Derry CDP's so its kind of like saying Los Angeles City = Los Angeles County
